* Re: Old accounts being taken over by bots. I don't know who it was or what account it was, but on El Jay one of the old abandoned accounts that was still friended to mine was somehow transferred to someone local and used to spy on me.
How creeptastic is that? They likely didn't get someone willing to sell their old account on the first try, they likely had to ask a lot of people. Someone went through the effort of finding someone who still get their LJ emails and was willing to give access to someone for the purposes of messing with me. I don't know who bought the account, but while I was still working with Kumoricon info that I only posted to that account was spread around to creep me out.
Anyway, the current situation made me think about that. It's why I am still slow to add mutuals sometimes depending on recent post history. If you have added me and I haven't added you back, I am sorry but my local con scene has horrible creepers who like to harass people in creative ways.
