* The entire cough drop section at the grocery store being sold out is probably fine, right? Nothing to worry about? That's just a normal thing that happens?

* I am dragging myself to pride this weekend and am not sure what to wear. Crush is also doing something for Pride, but don't have a lot of details up. My experiences with Pride in this city are not good, and everyone local I've talked to has pretty much said the same thing. I asked about going in the one online group and I am in and the other people who responded were like 'nope, don't, go, alienating'. But, I am going in hopes of... something. Maybe there will be some book group or something that I will find out about. I don't have high hopes for it, but don't want to let a possible opportunity pass on by.

Ooh, but it might be cold and rainy for Pride, that opens up my options for things to wear. I wont die in a plaid shirt.

I feel better about going out at 6am to get myself more cough drops. (Mine is not covid, but allergies. Still coughing.)

Our shelves down here are about half empty, but part of that is slow replenishment.

Yeah, I have a suspicion that my local store is like the last in line to get goods. It's still startling to see empty sections.

Eesh. Yeah, it's a little disturbing how often I can track how things are going by how much of the cold-flu aisle is cleared out.

I'm very sad that Portland pride isn't great. It seems like it *should* be, which is worse. (Though we've chatted about that.) Fingers crossed for something like a book club or hiking group or something else like that that's queer-friendly but has an additional social aim.

Also, I hope the weather cooperates!

Yeah, it's not great but it does feel better to go out and see what it's like now than sit around inside.
