Well that went...
I planned to go on a long photowalk tonight, but my camera bag was still packed for comic con and I wasn't sure where I even wanted to hit. So I did a big loop and checked to see if the giant skeleton house had added anything.
Anyway, look at this feral pumpkin plant eating the sidewalk:
No pumpkins yet. Prayer circle it's left alone until it's got some for me to shoot. I shot this with my tiny 25mm f4 because it's the lens I brought. It's a great lens, I love it. Some of my best shots are with this lens, but it was not the lens for this shot.
Walking in Portland:
The giant skeleton house has added an Aubrey II:
A guy walked behind me for a while. He kinda sounded like he was on the phone, but I realized he never spoke, it was just a woman's voice going on and on over some sort of speaker. I tried to ignore it, but after a few turns it was clear that the guy was following me. At a distance, but following me. I stopped to dig out earbuds so I could blast music and tune the guy out. It took me a second and ... I don't know what sort of audio track the guy had on via a bluetooth speaker, but if I had to guess it would have been something like 'supportive girlfriend roleplay ASMR'. When I was stopped I could hear it a bit clearer and it sounded like that sort of thing. So I put on music and just beelined home.
I swear I have had more weird things, the bad kind of weird, in the past few months than the past few years. And honestly? Getting a bit tired of it. I am kinda stuck be wanting so much to go hard on shooting fall this year and kinda wanting a break. Weather looks like it may be good with nice clear air this year. Don't want to let that pass me by but... honestly a little tripped out right now.
