* More substation attacks in the PNW, some in Washington left thousands without power. This is uh, this is a problem that keeps happening.
* I am playing a bit of Unavowed. Great story so far. Amazing visuals with the pixel art urban fantasy stuff all in rich colors and beautiful light effects. But it kiiiinda reminds me why I didn't touch most indie games until very recently. The actual gameplay is a lot of slow back and forth and searching the same things over and over. I'd enjoy this game ten thousand percent more if I could toggle in and out of an autoplay/movie mode.
That said indie games have come so far recently, especially in terms of not having weird, janky problems that mean having to restart a lot.
* Probably giving up on Pentiment for a while. It's very slow, and if you are going to be a slow game from a major publisher you better best be bug-free and have a UI that doesn't make people want to scream. A baby studio gets some forgiveness on having confounding UI and navigation, not people who have worked on Star Wars and Fallout franchises. It's very unique and cool, might try again in several months in hopes there has been some polish.
* I love gaming and want to play many things, but I just cannot have my time wasted the way some games think it's okay to waste mah time! Also 90% of my game browsing is look at the store page for Mask of the Rose and watching the release date drift further into the future. But, next content patch for GW2 will be 'early Q1' so, I'll have stuff there soon as well. I am well covered for good games to play.
