Why did they go so hard, holy shit? The acting, the tension, slowly showing more and more of that one painting at dinner as camera angles change...
It's listed as a season 1, which means there may be more. I kinda like it as is. I like the messed up moment they ended on when Ellie realized that yeah, she doesn't know Baby Sister as well as she thinks.
My assumption is that when they lost each other in the water is when Beverly started to separate from Ellie, and that's why Ellie denies it happened.
I don't know the book or the original movie. I might check them out sometime.
