* Jensen Ackles' production company has parted ways with CW and signed with Amazon. Posting this because I'd followed The Winchesters and yeah, as expected, it's over. Unless at some point Jensen literally bought the rights to SPN and is bringing them to Amazon, it's dead. I've seen some places claim that current ownership of the IP is unclear... but if Jensen literally bought SPN I think we'd have heard about it.

I am curious to see what he does, but also would be very unsurprised if he wants to take a break from paranormal stuff for a while. Or maybe because the nerd threw himself a birthday party for Dean's birthday... maybe he wants to take when he learned and dive into some urban fantasy? We can hope...

* And speaking of high level production stuff... The Duffers have their own production company now and they are going to make a non-Stranger Things paranormal show called The Boroughs. It's been created and will probably be written by other writers, but I am very interested. I am also interested in paranormal shows even if most of them turn into hot messes.

* Black Mirror season 6 teaser is out.

I had NOT heard about Jensen's production company hopping to Amazon. That is interesting, and I wonder what he'll be interested in doing next. I could see it going either way.

I'm intrigued by The Boroughs (especially the New Mexico setting, if it's good), and looking forward to more Black Mirror.

It might be a good while before we hear anything concrete, but It'll be interesting to see what Jensen does. I always thought he might disappear into directing once SPN is over.

I'm sure it will be a while before there's an official project in the works, but it'll still be interesting to see which direction he goes.
