Good news! I am not the most socially awkward photographer in Portland! There was this 20 something guy, sort of conventionally attractive, who kept announcing what he was taking a picture of and why. At one point he was trying to ask my permission to take a picture of a rose? It's like... just chill. You are having the opposite of the effect you intend.

The stuff woven into the fence! The murals, especially the film, the skulls, the feathers! The lush plants around the little free library! The art on the back of it! Those quilts! The bee phone pole might be my fave! KITTY! The rainbow sidewalk! Batcat!

I just don't want to waste good weather. Heat's been mild, air clear and sidewalks overgrown.

I know the feeling! Having been kept inside by the weather for almost a full month, it feels like a huge waste if we DON'T do something on every possible day.
