Challenge 1: Iris

I am going very basic with this prompt, just purple and floral. Weirdly, purple is the rarest color in my photography even though I love it. Green, brown, blue and even pink are there a lot. I actually did a big review of my folders a while back to see what types of photos I do and don't have a lot of, and lack of purple stood out to me. Hopefully, I can find ways to even that out!

I've found that cameras don't really replicate purple properly. It's a pain sometimes.

I love the mural.

Those first two pictures are especially stunning (surprise, surprise: I love neat pathways.) The depth of field in that first one is great! I of course also love the mural, the skelly, and the starry purple tea party.

Someday I will have an amazing Portland Sidewalk gallery. I might actually be pretty close to having enough top tier pics for it.

Such lovely photos! I'm especially fond of the second one, the framing is just wonderful and it looks so magical -- like if you follow that path you'll be transported into another world. And special mention to the skeleton, that one made me laugh -- and, again, great framing with the flowers in the foreground.
