* The SAG strike is on! And this means no promotional appearances by actors. San Diego Comic Con's already been having a rough time, but this is a body blow. A lot of cons going to be feeling this.

* The Oppenheimer premiere got moved up so the actors could still attend the red carpet, squeaked it in under the deadline. But at the deadline they walked out of the film.

I hope both WGA and SAG get everything they are asking for. Nice to see how hardline SAG is being, some people were worried when they agreed to an extension.

I think SAG is realising they got hoodwinked on the extension so Tom Cruise could do the Mission Impossible rounds, and are going extra hard in response. Good for them.

Stars of the film Oppenheimer appeared on the red carpet of the film’s UK premiere on Thursday. When the strike was officially announced, they walked out of the event.

I ALSO hope that WGA and SAG get everything they're looking for and deserve.

It is extremely refreshing to see that they're being very hardline about it.
