* Well, so much for the 'talk shows will start coming back, but don't blame the hosts or guests' crowd. Bill Maher, that horrible excuse for a faux-liberal, he's putting his show on hold. Bill Maher!
* Please tell me Portland is the only city where we have drama about sous chef foraging yards. Taking an apple or fig from a yard for personal use versus having harvesting routes for your 'fresh and local' restaurant that involves going through yards at midnight <- please tell me we are the only place where we need to explain the difference between these two things.
Honestly, I didn't know this was still even a problem, but here we are in 2023 having sous chef in sideyards drama.
* The BG3 cast are going to play D&D! *flops over* No one I know but me has started the game yet. Anyway, The announcement video with the cast. It would have been hilarious in a meta way to have also had the Narrator/DM from the game as a player since she has complained about 'those mo-cap bastards' being together while she's always alone in the booth. She has her own channel where she posts outtake compilations. A lot of it is her complaining about the player character or about Astarion. I posted the animatic because it was easier to find that bit where she's complaining that no one ever asks her to roll some dice.

But fucking yikes at ANYONE not seeing that "yeah, I was delighted to grab a fresh apple from a tree to enjoy" vs. "this IS my local [unpaid] source for the food I am selling and marketing based on said local sourcing" are actually quite different scenarios.
Ooh, I bet that'll be a fun game!
