I haven't been to The Night Market in a while, but this weekend they did one for AAPI creators. They called the event Legendary Creators. Due to how many people show up to these events, it's possible that this weekend's Night Market was the largest AAPI event ever in the Pacific NW. No one really track these things so articles and stuff are wording it carefully, but as far as anyone knows, this was it.
For those who don't know, Night Markets arecraft fairs maker pop-ups that take over a warehouse in the industrial part of the waterfront with sellers, food and events. This one had a zine making station, water color demonstrations, a screening room for AAPI films, photo areas, food vendors, wine bar, etc. A few things at the event, including some of the art installations, focused on AAPI adoptees into white families.
I only grabbed a few pictures. I had my camera bag but wasn't really doing photography there, I did some on my way back.
My hopes were to get some planner supplies and to actually eat at a Night Market for once. There were a few vendors that I could eat at with my allergies and I was excited. Oh boy, was that a lost cause. The lines were so long and dense that I couldn't figure out what each booth even was. I asked people waiting and they had just joined a random line and would see what they got. Oh, to be able to do that. They had Himilayan dumplings, mochi donuts, those toast creations as seen in countless viral videos about street food, sushi, noodle stands, etc, etc. Yeah, couldn't get near them without joining lines. The large separate sushi bar was sold out before I got there.
So, the only food I could get was from an allergy friendly bakery booth inside. I got a raw cookie dough iced brownie. Yummy, but I'd hoped for dinner:

Stickers I bought:

Random picture of the side room:

The wine bar and screening room were up the stairs on the left. Yeah, not many pictures just a few quick cell phone grabs.
I hope they do more themed ones like this. A few vendors were leaving as I arrived because they'd totally sold out of stock, so I assume they did well. I didn't buy nearly as much as I'd hoped, but oh well. And someday... someday I will eat the market.

That ghost sticker is very cute! I also like the cat and ribcage. And of course adorable foods!
