Challenge 4: Introduce Yourself

I spend a lot of time doing writing and photography. Writing is my main focus, but I sometimes spend more time on photography to not burn myself out and to gather experiences out in the world. Sometimes it's better to be outside and wandering than at my computer. A lot of my photography is of Portland street/yard art and general Portland weirdness.

In terms of interests I enjoy gaming, both some major titles like Baldur's Gate 3 and also strange indie horror. I watch too many video essays. I like to hang out on Twitch to watch games or to watch live paranormal investigations.

For fandoms, I am mostly into Stranger Things, Leverage and Baldur's Gate 3. I rarely leave fandoms, so I still have attachments to The Sentinel, Jeeves & Wooster, Buckaroo Banzai and other small fandoms.

I am trans and run transmediaclub I hope I am building that into an interesting resource.

My posts tend to be a mix of where I am with writing, fandom stuff, gaming stuff, youtube stuff, etc. I also really like trains, spooky stuff, hiking and urban fantasy.

And to wrap this up, I will try that Random Question Generator linked in the Snowflake post.

What's your close call story?

Either the time I fell off a cliff, the time I fell off a cliff or the time I fell down a sheer rock face that wasn't technically a cliff. My Dad also fell off of a cliff once so I come by it naturally.

maybe you should avoid areas that are cliff-y? sounds like that's some sort of repeat problem.

I grew up on a cliff and managed to never fall down that one?

One of my life goals is to not fall off of any more cliffs, or fall down any sheer rock faces that aren't really cliffs.

I fully support that life goal; please do try to stick to it if at all possible

Wow! You should stay away from cliffs. You're lucky to be alive, unless it was a tiny hill. Take care.

The second cliff fall I thought was going to have life-changing impacts, but surprisingly I was okay. Really don't want that to even happen again, though

That does look useful. I've written various trans and gender-variant characters. Me, my sexuality is a tesseract.

We do a bit of hiking occasionally.
