I Saw the TV Glow

Remarkable movie. Not sure what to say about it, or rather not sure what to say that wouldn't be more saying something about me.

It captures a lot of things well and is very 90s focused in a way I'm not used to media being. Like the awkwardness of being someone 2 grade levels older than you, but you are stuck in a place and cell phones don't exist yet so you just sort of accept it and vibe.

Yeah, that was a unique film and I think I am going to be thinking about it for the next week.

I keep hearing the film mentioned, but still don't know much of what it's about! I'm intrigued enough to maybe give it a watch, though.

It had a very small release in theaters and now you can buy a copy. It will be interesting if/when it hits streaming and more people can see it. I nabbed a copy because I don't like hearing too much about a film before seeing it.

Halfway through I couldn't have said what the plot was or where it was going. Amazing film, though, and lots of visceral moments.

It looks like our little indie theater downtown has a couple showings of it. Wonder if I could make the trip down there before it goes away..?

I do hope to see it. The bits I've heard about it have definitely piqued my interest!
