Rain!

We had some rain! I was out in it! But at some point I hid my camera adapter from myself and now I can't find it. I hid it but good. I have a vague memory of noticing it was on my chair as I was heading for bed and putting it someplace 'I'd easily see it' so I could put it in it's place the next day. I cannot find the adapter at all. I'll just have to use my method of just cleaning my space until I find it. That way my looking time is more productive.

Darnnit. The local photography group rejected my last several posts and one of these shots would easily get approved. My posts are always within the rules, but at least one of the mods is very 'good vibes only!' and rejects everything that is in the slightest bit creepy, sad or political. And, well, *gestures to all my galleries* When my creepy posts are approved they are super popular, but it's a crapshoot whether they get through. I wanted to process one picture tonight, submit it and wake up to some feedback in the morning. But, I need to give up for the night because it is someplace nuts.

I am doing a very poor job of giving up on finding the dumb piece of plastic for the night.

I still cannot find my SD card adapter, so I finally grabbed the photos using my camera's memory like an external drive ... and then remembered why I don't do that. Windows doesn't eject the media correctly. There is a reason why I do my files transfers in the exact way that I do, and am very careful of that adapter.

Oh well. I'll find the annoying thing.

Babylon 5 reboot in active development.

I loved the original show, but not sure about a reboot. Mostly I am looking forward to needing several bottles of vodka to deal with all the younger fans who will have the 'hot take' of 'this is just a DS 9 rip off'. I have enough trouble dealing with the 'Librarians is a Warehouse 13 rip off' set, especially since they are playing hopscotch to avoid infringing on a Steve Jackson Games IP.

oh and anything with a mimic is a Dark Souls rip off now.

Okay, no more fandom old crankiness for the week. I keep going over my cranky allotments as it is.

In less cranky news, it's pouring out! It should still be raining together when I can go out in it!
